I am a mother of two beautiful teenage daughters and a wife of a loving husband, who appreciates the special moments experienced during our family vacations.
My family and I have traveled around the world on beautiful vacations: Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Monaco, and more. Memories of each country bring back special moments experienced during my family’s travels that I will cherish forever.
Still, despite my love of traveling the world, my family needed an affordable place to frequently visit, particularly one closer to our home in South Louisiana. Although we have visited many times and dearly love the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters of Florida, the proximity, language, and cultural similarities never brought back the same feelings or memories of traveling abroad.
To experience the sights, sounds, and smells of traveling to foreign lands, we decided to kickstart those high school Spanish lessons and travel to Mexico! Because my husband, Jason, enjoys playing golf, we decided to first try Moon Palace in Cancun, a short, direct flight from New Orleans. Ever since our first trip to this all-inclusive resort, we’ve become completely hooked on the grand resort lifestyle: spas, golf courses, pools, cuisines, specialty drinks, beaches, palm trees, and, most importantly, the friendliness of the Palace Resorts staff!
Because we love luxurious, yet affordable, traveling, we initially became VIP Level members in the Palace Resorts’ vacation club. More recently, we upgraded our membership to Diamond Level members. In these articles, I write about our travel experiences to Palace Resorts, both good and bad, including reviews of meals, accomodations, entertainment, excursions, and travel tips. I even include an inspirational thought or unique moment I experienced along the way. I hope these articles make your trips easier and more fulfilling.
